A BEAUTIFUL SUNDAY

A windy afternoon. Five or Six inches of rain.
We survived Hanna Saturday without any pain.
Since we didn't lose power, I decided to make...
though 8 days overdue--Sam's birthday cake!!
Since Patrick had until ten before he headed back to U.S.N.A.
He and his family came over to help us celebrate Sam's day.
***********************
Our Sunday dawned bright and sunny and warm...
We're thankful to God, we survived this tropical storm.
Sunday morning for worship we were joined by these two...
Lauren & Sarah, coeds at American U.
Colorado & Angola---they're from far away
Sweet fellowship with them, blessed us today.

Waiting for Hanna

We've got our cell phones charged up.
The patio furniture is secured.
We've got a fresh case of water & batteries.
And our laundry is done...

Recalling Isabel in 2003---
No power for 3 days
No phone--No A/C--No TV--No fun.
WE HOPE WE'RE READY FOR HANNA!!
