This is what less than 4 hours of sleep looks like at 4:55 a.m.
I make the Rules.
And the rule is whoever rides shotgun next to the driver can't nap.
Someone has to keep the driver awake.
And the driver is more than likely my son.
The others elected John David for that responsibility.

My, haven't you been busy so early in the morning!! I love reading your blog -- you obviously enjoy recording life's journey as it unfolds. This is SOOO much better than old-fashioned scrapbooks! I took V and Chucho out for a long walk this AM while Beth and Mike got a jump start on the packing. They will be off soon for El Paso and beyond. Verena is way cool -- I'm sure Beth can't wait for you to hold her. When she's in Beth's arms, she looks like Beth, and then she looks like Mike when he's holding her. She is killer cute...Well, I'm looking forward to flying home tomorrow and reuniting with my Sweetie...
