What a week...
Jim & I spent about 3 hours in the ER early this morning.
He thought I had pneumonia---
the doc said bad case of strep!!
I feel pretty awful. But am thankful for my husband's concern
and the care of the great staff at Shady Grove Adventist.
Last Thursday Jim & I headed for the Birchmere in Alexandria.The Flatlanders were terrific.
And we were right up front next to the stage!!
On Saturday I accompanied Stephanie, one of my newspaper students,
to the University of Maryland
for a Sports Writers Workshop that was terrific.
Then in the evening we had a great BBQ withHilda, Grineys, Sarah and Bill.
Our first patio party for the season!!
Then we put on the swing tunes and practiced a bit.Good Times!!

sigh! I wasn't able to be there at your first patio party! Well, y'all look like you're having a great time! Thank God you're feeling better!
Sorry to hear you were sick too! I had to take my husband to the ER last weekend. He was running a temp for over two weeks and I said enough is enough! He finally agreed to go in, He has pnumonia! He's on 5 drugs, inhaler, prednisone, antiboitics etc! He is much better this week thanks to God!
