OCTOBER OCCURRENCES

BOTH A HOMECOMING & A REUNION THIS MONTH!!

Abby's visit home from grad school meant a few trips to Baltimore...

              And a little dinner at Porter's across the street from Sam's place...

                                               with housemate Nat...

         FORTY TWO YEARS AGO---

                   a girl from Colorado and a girl from Texas became roommates in Missouri...

                           decorated their room hot pink & orange...

                                                       and had a lot of fun together...

 

After their freshman year they both transferred back home...

And never saw each other again...UNTIL this month...

When we met on the national mall for 

some tourism and some fellowship...

                                           Only 8 hours to catch up for 42 years...

It sure didn't feel like we were two 61 year-OLD-women...

It felt like we were just two 18 year old freshmen again.

                                          Thank you, Pam, for a wonderful day together....

Let's do it again---but we can't wait another 42 years to do so!!

ONE MORE REUNION THIS MONTH. TOO!!

My "other son" Sam got discharged from the Marines.

I am proud of his service to our country...

Sweet memories (who was that investigative reporter in the Spanish closet?)

Recalling the blessings of the Lord over the years.

Thanks, Sammie, for not forgetting your old teacher.

And Thank you for serving our nation so well.

GOD IS GOOD!!!
