PRIME TIME!!!

What a treat to be the guest of 

our "daughter" Sarah McHaney 

at her workplace!
And what a great workplace that is...

 We got to meet some of our favorite 

reporters & anchors...

Like David Brooks of Brooks and Shields

 Jim's "crush" Margaret Warner...

 who shared some of her favorite foreign assignments

and favorite local restaurants.

 And Judy Woodruff who was the special speaker at... 

 Abby's Montgomery College graduation in 2005.

But it was great fun to watch Sarah at work...

 And to be part of the control room excitement

 when the show was on the air...

 And then we got to pretend we were journalists...

Then this morning when Jim and I woke up

 We were wondering what to do with our day...

SEEMED LIKE A FAIR KIND OF DAY...

 Funnel Cakes and Ice Cream...

PIG RACES!!

 Jim was emotionally spent after 
his favorite swine won!!

WHERE ELSE CAN YOU FIND A PINK TRACTOR??

 Helping Chief with a wooden puzzle...

Getting up close and personal with...

 some raptors!

 But the best thing about the fair...

 our favorite---Flower Hill String Band...

 The fiddling, 

 and strumming 

 and vocals...

 and the pigs...

And....

 

Learning hard to swallow facts... 

What a great, but exhausting day...
