Churrascaria (shoo-ras-ka-ria) = Brazilian restaurant where meat is cooked on skewers over an open fire & brought straight to the table where it is carved directly on to your plate.
Before Brett had to return to school in Miami last Friday, the Hammanns and Furnishes decided to celebrate friendship by stuffing ourselves at Green Field Churrascaria on Rockville Pike.
All sorts of meats brought to the table on swords.
A huge buffet of every other kind of food.
Good Fellowship and lots of affection between us. God is good.
CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA
Jim had a consulting job near Charleston on my day off last week. We flew down early in the morning. I accompanied him to his client's business and stayed in the car grading papers.
Then we headed toward beautiful, quaint, charming, very southern (I'm not running out of words yet to describe it) Charleston. We walked around town in the evening.
hush puppies, grits, seafood, bar-b-que.
If it's fried, we'll eat it!
Went to Fort Sumpter on the cruise boat.
Then ate some more before flying home to our kids
and dog on Saturday night.
It's fun to be with my husband.
